History

First Christian Church of Venice (FCCV) began from the vision of a few godly men and women in 1962 and had their first service with charter members on Easter Sunday, 1963. Over the years, FCCV has been a pillar in the community of Venice, Fl.  After moving from a temporary meeting space, the church purchased and built the first building on Center Road in the heart of the Venice Community. With multiple building renovations and additions over the years, the current building now sits on approximately 10 acres of land  with only about 1/3 of the space used leaving ample room for expansion.

Our current facility went through a complete renovation and was remodeled in 2019 during the pandemic. Our current facility is designed with Worship and Families in mind. We currently seat 300 people per service with a vision for expansion with our current growth. Our worship is modern with an emphasis on biblical teaching, engaging worship, small group focused and a heart for families of all ages. Our current facility and land are debt free allowing us to focus our energies on reaching those outside the walls of our church in the community.

There have been fantastic godly leaders and pastors over the years and at the end of 2020 Senior Pastor, Mitch Todd was called to lead the church through the next season of growth.
